The Most Difficult People To Deal With Are Those That Have The Holy Spirit AND Another Spirit

Addicted in KJV Quick Word Study

1 Corinthians 16:15 I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,) G5021 τάσσω tasso (tas'-sō) v. 1. to arrange in an orderly manner. 2. (generally) to assign or dispose (to a certain position or lot). [a prolonged form of a primary verb (which latter appears only in certain tenses)] KJV: addict, appoint, determine, ordain, set Used seven more times in NT KJV. Matthew 28:16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. Luke 7:8 For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. Acts 13:48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed. Acts 15:2...

Sinless Perfection Refuted

This site documents specific things discerned concerning truth and error in the doctrines closely associated with teaching by NAR teachers and Word of Faith teachers.  The areas of false teaching often revolve around self and pride and a teacher that itches the ear and a hearer that wants their ear tickled.  I have been that person that wanted to hear and chase miracles.  I'm still amazed how God truly works.  But Satan tries to counterfeit and it can be difficult for the carnal mind to know.  In fact the carnal mind will lie to you.  But the mind of Christ will not.  The word of God will not. The Holy Spirit will lead believers into more truth and point out error. One such error is the teaching of Sinless Perfection.  This is a short post but it is going to point out one of the sacrifices in the book of Leviticus and how God instructs the freewill offering of the peace offering considered a sacrifice of Thanksgiving to be given by man to the L...

Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

If you've ever had someone that believes a false gospel or proclaims a false gospel ask you over for fellowship, how do you respond?  Sometimes people may be in the ditch and not realize it even though the life they are living is pointing to the error.  Word of faith believers that are sick all the time is one example.  Claiming the "Lord" has spoken to them and said another believer never sins.  Trying to use that as a proof that someone they idolize is not a false teacher.  Things so crazy like this and then this same person may want to for example teach a class or lead a bible study.  What are these people really doing?  They are defending and promoting a different gospel.  They do not see that they are deceived and trying to deceive others with a works based salvation message. A believer's works are a reflection of their faith.  So we do have works to aspire to and to do and the greater gifts to seek.  Maybe we have been given the...

Is Dan Mohler A False Teacher?

I have heard many sermons by Dan Mohler that I really loved.  And then I also experienced some supernatural things and saw people getting healed and I really thought of Dan Mohler as one of the best teachers on healing and how we are supposed to live out the life as a believer.  But red flags have continued to pop up in my mind over the last five years in my faith journey. And I have had many friends that love Dan Mohler's teachings.  My incessant searching for others that notice things that I notice about false teaching and false teachers and spiritual blindness in those that are deceived in the church. So far the problem I've found with some of Dan Mohler's loudest critics is that they either discount him completely because they are cessationists (don't believe in any of the spiritual gifts for today's body of Christ), or they are hyper sensitive to something Dan teaches and are dogmatic that he has a different spirit and gospel. I do not really know. But som...

Dealing with Narcissists: A Believers Response

Have you ever been the victim to someone that wants to control you? Do you have someone in your life that has been controlled by their family or a member of their family?  If so, what is the response that a born again believer in Jesus Christ should have? Firstly we must remember that we are fighting against Satan's army where he has all that do not believe in Jesus fooled. Unfortunately, he also has many believers fooled because their identity is wrapped up in believing what the abusers in their life have taught them that is anti biblical. For an unbeliever, happiness may be the goal of their life. But for a believer they may just be so confused about the abuse they have received that they remain bitter and hateful forgetting that the word tells us to forgive, to root out bitterness, to find our joy in the Lord.  It also tells us to focus on the good things not the bad.  If you think in your own mind that you can rationalize the way to be around a narcissistic con...
