Sinless Perfection Refuted

This site documents specific things discerned concerning truth and error in the doctrines closely associated with teaching by NAR teachers and Word of Faith teachers.  The areas of false teaching often revolve around self and pride and a teacher that itches the ear and a hearer that wants their ear tickled.  I have been that person that wanted to hear and chase miracles.  I'm still amazed how God truly works.  But Satan tries to counterfeit and it can be difficult for the carnal mind to know.  In fact the carnal mind will lie to you.  But the mind of Christ will not.  The word of God will not. The Holy Spirit will lead believers into more truth and point out error.

One such error is the teaching of Sinless Perfection.  This is a short post but it is going to point out one of the sacrifices in the book of Leviticus and how God instructs the freewill offering of the peace offering considered a sacrifice of Thanksgiving to be given by man to the Lord.  It is a sacrifice made of unleavened bread but interestingly it is one of the unique times where the offering is to include leavened bread.  Why in the world would that be?  I believe it is clear that this is because it is man offering to God and that in man's flesh is no good thing.  Even after we are saved and born again we still have the flesh while in this vessel.

Sinless perfection would say you don't have sin in you after you get saved.  Therefore if you sin after you are saved then you are done and going to hell because there is no further sacrifice for sin.  So that is from Satan no doubt.

Leviticus 7:11-15 KJV
And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which he shall offer unto the LORD.

If he offer it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and cakes mingled with oil, of fine flour, fried.

Besides the cakes, he shall offer for his offering leavened bread with the sacrifice of thanksgiving of his peace offerings.

And of it he shall offer one out of the whole oblation for an heave offering unto the LORD, and it shall be the priest's that sprinkleth the blood of the peace offerings.

And the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten the same day that it is offered; he shall not leave any of it until the morning.

Is Dan Mohler A False Teacher?

I have heard many sermons by Dan Mohler that I really loved.  And then I also experienced some supernatural things and saw people getting healed and I really thought of Dan Mohler as one of the best teachers on healing and how we are supposed to live out the life as a believer.  But red flags have continued to pop up in my mind over the last five years in my faith journey. And I have had many friends that love Dan Mohler's teachings.  My incessant searching for others that notice things that I notice about false teaching and false teachers and spiritual blindness in those that are deceived in the church. So far the problem I've found with some of Dan Mohler's loudest critics is that they either discount him completely because they are cessationists (don't believe in any of the spiritual gifts for today's body of Christ), or they are hyper sensitive to something Dan teaches and are dogmatic that he has a different spirit and gospel. I do not really know. But som...

How to Not Be Offended

2 Timothy 2:22-26 22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. 24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, 25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. How can we not be offended?  That is a tough question to answer when you are in the midst of a conflict with anyone.  Maybe there is unforgiveness or there is rebellion in your life and you think too highly of yourself.  Or maybe you think it is ok to not forgive someone when they do something against you even if they have admitted the offense and asked for forgiveness.  Perhaps yo...
