Refuting Legalistic Covenant Mixing Believers

What do you say to modern day believers that also believe that because God told the Hebrews in the Old Covenant to not eat pork for example or shellfish that we are not supposed to either?  Can they be reasoned with or do we just let them continue and allow the Holy Spirit to work in their lives? I believe we give the truth where we can but as Romans 14 describes if someone thinks they should not do something because it would be a sin to them then it is sin.  So it seems we correct where we can in love but not at the expense of causing a division.  If you don't want to eat pork because of what Leviticus has to say about pork and shellfish then I'm not going to argue with you.  But the word of God does shed much light on this matter and if you understand this it helps to understand what the New Covenant really is and how people were always saved by faith not works. All animals created by God are good and considered clean for eating now.  1 Timothy 4:4 KJ...

What Saves A Person Unto Eternal Life?

When people are looking to find what it is that saves them they often here vague statements like, "you just need to surrender to Jesus" OR "just give your life to Jesus" OR "Invite Jesus into your heart". All of those are cliches made up by man to describe their feeling about what it is to be a Christian.  But we must go to the Word of God to find out what it takes to be saved and what it means to be saved.  This will lead you to see the difference between justification and sanctification which are two  topics most Christians are utterly confused about. The problem we have is that we have a sin debt as by one man all have fallen and need to be reconciled back to God.  God setup a plan for us to be saved before the foundation of the world. His plan was to send the Word which was in the beginning and was Gad.   All things were made by the Word and without Him was not anything made that was made. The Word was made flesh by the power of the Holy Spirit an...

Is God's Love Ever Reckless?

Referring to God and His love and describing His love with a word that means: without thinking or caring about the consequences of an action does not describe the actions of the God of the bible.  If we try to justify this descriptor for God's love by saying that the song's reference to God's "Reckless love" that it is not God's love but our perception of God's love from the human point of view raises two problems that are not in line with His word.   One, that God does things without consideration or care for people. He does not and if so that would be the opposite of love. That also indicates that someone doesn't believe God knows the end from the beginning.  Two, that God 's love is to be defined and is what we think it is.  God's attributes are set and unchangeable. Man exalting his opinion over what God's word describes is to create a god in our own mind.  When we do that and worship that god then we are in idolatry.  Ma...

Alan Keyes Argument For Defining Marriage As Only Between A Man And A Woman Using Logic

Jesus Said No Man Hath Ascended to Heaven

John 3:13 KJV And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. Proverbs 30:4 KJV Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?

The Simple Gospel: Belief Is Required for Justification And Faith Is Not A Work

E veryone needs Jesus to be saved from their sin and the penalty of sin. Romans 3:23 KJV For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Hebrews 9:22 KJV And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. Salvation is by grace through faith. Faith is necessary. Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Romans 5:12 KJV Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Romans 5:17 KJV For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. Titus 3:5 KJV Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Ho...

The Rise of The Beast and the Falling Away From The Faith

Revelation 13:7 KJV And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

Reba McEntire Serves Satan?

2 John 1:9-11

2 John 1:9-11 KJV 9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Was Jesus God and Man When He Was Born Into This World Via Mary?

Was Jesus God and Man When He Was Born Into This World Via Mary? The answer is YES.  People like Todd White say that Jesus was born just as a man. Bill Johnson also says that.  But that is an error that has been pointed out to both of them and they do not repent. Matthew 1:21-23 KJV 21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. 22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Notice in verse 23 where the Word of God says that his name is called Emmanuel which means God with us. Jesus was the Word before he manifested into the flesh as a baby.  But when he was human he was also God. John 1 describes who Jesus is also. John 1:1 KJV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with G...

Dominion Theology and Todd Bentley's Joel's Army End Times Revival Counterfeit Exposed

ENDTIME REVIVAL — SPIRIT-LED AND SPIRIT-CONTROLLED THIS STATEMENT WAS ADOPTED BY THE GENERAL PRESBYTERY OF THE ASSEMBLIES OF GOD ON AUGUST 11, 2000. As the writer of Ecclesiastes noted, there is nothing new under the sun (Ecclesiastes 1:9). Generations come and go. Revival movements come and go. Hunger for more of God comes and unfortunately wanes. Some people prefer the routine over the unexpected. Others desperately want to see something unusual, something that has never happened before. Revival Extremes In times of revival God often reminds the Church of neglected truths. When this happens, it is easy for extremes to develop. Some will reject the revival of a doctrine, while others in their zeal will go beyond the teaching of Scripture. Both extremes are harmful and bring reproach on the cause of Christ. Revivals from Azusa Street (early 20th century) until now have witnessed unusual and unexpected human responses to God’s presence. Maria Woodworth-Etter, whose evange...

There Will Be False Teachers In The Latter Days

We are in the latter days.  There are false teachers among us.  So what are we to do? When we know someone is giving a false gospel what are we to do? Expose the darkness.  We are light and salt. 1 John 4:6 KJV We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

What Defiles Man?

Matthew 15:17 - 20 KJV 17 Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught? 18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. 19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: 20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

An Example of Todd White's False Gospel of Faith Plus Works Confusing Justification and Sanctification in Latest Newsletter

In Todd White's latest email newsletter  he points out that many people may see what you are doing and be "concerned".  He basically points out that this is persecution if you are  "living boldly for God" .   Vague Doctrinal Phraseology I like to point out these kinds of vague phraseology because this is common among false teachers in the NAR and in the Hyper Grace false teaching movements. One says you need to be more surrendered and the other says "It is finished" but when this is said by a false hyper grace teacher what they mean is that your work is finished.  It is a teaching where the leaders worship a false God named Grace.  Jesus gets removed and a new savior named Grace steps in place.  They also preach another gospel, another Jesus and are receiving another spirit. How False Teachers Brainwash Deceived People Vague unbiblical phrases gets repeated by false teachers as an answer to other people to justify those that thin...

Are There Prophets Today? Watchmen?

This article rings true to me and possibly to others that have a gift of discernment. Having this gift aligns one with the prophets and watchmen of Israel.  These types are typically viewed as negative, critical, and generally unhappy around those that are united in error. This is common. http://www.truthkeepers.com/

Danger of False Teachers and Shipwrecked Faith

2 Timothy 3:1-4 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Hebrews 6:4-8 KJV For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejecte...

If You Think You Cannot Be Deceived As A Christian Then You Are Already Deceived

If you think you cannot be deceived then you are likely either already deceived or ripe for deception.  Jesus warns believers about a great deception and even the means by which this will occur.  Yet there are some people that follow NAR teachings that thing there is no way they can be deceived because God would never let them.  The problem with that is when the truth slaps them in the face and they end up believing some lie they will blame God for their lack of love of truth and truth seeking. Matthew 24:24 KJV For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Pattern of Deception is the same from the beginning with Satan: Genesis 3:1 KJV Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? (Satan poses questions whi...

NAR Followers At Risk Of These Verses Applying to Their Lack of Repentence

2 Thessalonians 2:3-12 KJV Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that...

Roots of New Age Thought Which Is The Cornerstone Influence For NAR and Bethel Church Redding Teachings

Thank you brother Ron Rhodes. I would prefer all bible verses not to reference the NIV as that too has been influenced by New Age deception as well. The web is wide and complicated concerning how the body of Christ has arrived at this point of apostasy and faithlessness. "The Christ of the New Age Movement" Part One in a Two-Part Series on New Age Christology by Ron Rhodes "Who do you say I am?" (Luke 9:20, NIV) The question was first asked of Peter by Christ nineteen centuries ago, and has continued since then to the present day to be the litmus test of spiritual authenticity. Perhaps never in the history of the Christian church has this question been more relevant than it is today. One reason for this is that New Agers have taken the New Testament sculpture (if you will) of Christ, crafted an esoteric/mystical chisel, and hammered away at this sculpture until a completely new image has been formed. The new sculpture is one that fits nicely on a display s...
