If there's no such thing as the rapture then there's no such thing as the Resurrection and if so then your faith is in vain 1 Corinthians 15. Calvinists seem to believe the book of Revelation is just a poetic book and all things there are just symbolic.
1 Corinthians 15:1-8 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
1 Corinthians 15:14-22 KJV
And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
Salvation in the bible is used in three tenses for the believer. Salvation is past tense, is current, and is future tense. So it isn't inaccurate to say we are going to be saved at the resurrection/rapture even though we that are born again are currently saved and Jesus saves us from our sins which are things that have already occurred in the past.
I learned some new things in this video. Thanks.
Salvation:
σωτηρία soteria (sō-tee-riy'-a) n.
1. (the state of) safety.
2. (the quality of) preservation from harm and danger.
3. (properly, abstract) salvation (i.e. an act of rescue or saving).
4. (specifically) Salvation from Moral Failure and Death into Eternal Life through the Anointed-One, Jesus (Yeshua).
{physically or morally}
[feminine of a derivative of G4990 as an abstract noun]
KJV: deliver, health, salvation, save, saving
So is there a danger if you don't believe there is a rapture? When I hear people say there is no rapture it exposes their ignorance of the bible, the fact that they have been deceived by some man's false teaching, and that they are not seeking truth and usually are spiritually lazy and often prideful. Born again believers can be deceived. We must speak truth in love to them and free will is something we cannot change. Forcing someone to agree they believe in something when they don't is not only a waste of time but it goes against our God given free will and to me seems to be a controlling or manipulative effort often similar to witchcraft. As crazy as that sounds there is a subtle spirit of control we have to guard against when we are doing all the work and not being lead by the Holy Spirit and giving the truth in love and truth. Some are saved when we are compassionate towards another and some are saved when we help them see the horror of the alternative to not being born again.
