Hyper grace finished work teachers are vague in their definitions concerning what the law is. They will say that Jesus preached the law but Paul preached the gospel of grace. They ignore verses that say Jesus came to preach the kingdom.
Matthew 4:23 KJV
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
Did you see that? Jesus preached the gospel of the kingdom. Is that preaching the law? No way. If Jesus was preaching the law of Moses then why is the law of Moses not called the "gospel of the kingdom". Answer: Because Jesus was preaching the gospel of the kingdom that is why. Jesus was not preaching the law. If you do not understand this then I can only pray for your blindness to leave you.
Was Jesus teaching the law with the woman at the well?
John 8:7,10-11
John 8:7
So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
John 8:10-11
When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
This is not how the law of Moses says to address this problem is it? How is Jesus teaching the law there? He is not. He is showing mercy and grace.
Jesus commanded to show mercy in the parable of the good Samariton. This is not the law of Moses this is the gospel of the kingdom:
Luke 10:36-37
Luke 10:36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?
Luke 10:37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.
Jesus was not teaching the law of Moses when the humble tax collector who pleaded for mercy was justified and the Pharisee was not:
Luke 18:13
And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
Luke 18:14
I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
Jesus modeled compassion. What did this widow do to merit Jesus raising her son from the dead? Nothing. How is this teaching the law of Moses? This is the gospel of the kingdom:
Luke 7:11 And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people.
Luke 7:12 Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.
Luke 7:13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.
Luke 7:14 And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.
Luke 7:15 And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.
The parable of the prodigal son should have ended with the father stoning his rebellious child, but somehow this humble sinner returns to the father saying he doesn't even deserve a place in the home anymore and the father gives him something he doesn't deserve by accepting him back and forgiving him. How is this Jesus preaching the law of Moses? It is not because again it is Jesus demonstrating the gospel of the kingdom teaching us to be humble and repentant when we sin and to be merciful and compassionate towards those that wrong us.
Luke 15:20
And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
Jesus was a living example of grace. He came in grace and truth.
John 1:17
For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
Teachers that insist Jesus preached the law are delusional, in denial, and have little peace concerning the contradictions. When they become peaceful about these things they falsely teach they are really in trouble. Spiritual blindness is hard to overcome.
