Believing Is Obeying

When we believe in something and trust that something if that something advises us to do something then it is by our actions that we can truly see what it is we believe.

Romans 10:9 KJV
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

People that truly believe in Jesus as the sent perfect lamb sacrifice and the savior of all the world and that He is indeed Lord over all then they will say that very thing with their mouth.  Believers declare what they believe to others because they really have a belief in their heart, rooted to their being and something they don't just think but know.  For so many reasons I believe Jesus is Lord and is God and is who the bible says He is.  I don't ever doubt Him.  And because I don't doubt Him I never need to doubt that He has given me the free gift of salvation.

Because of this heart belief in Jesus, I don't wonder about my salvation although I do seek it with fear and a carefulness not to get it wrong.  Believing a lie can cause spiritual blindness and so that is why it is very important to have a love of the truth.

When you look at the danger of what happens to those that do not love the truth you can see that in the last days these people will be on the receiving end of a strong delusion.  It does appear those that fall for the strong delusion are not believers.  But an apostasy or falling away from the faith is spoken of in 2 Thessalonians as well.  I believe this falling away is people that believed at one time and then in large mass many people that profess to be believers in Jesus Christ will fall away perhaps following another gospel, another Jesus, and another Spirit.

2 Thessalonians 2:9-11 KJV
Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

Are you willing to throw out doctrines you have been taught your entire life as gospel truth?  I pray many will question what they believe and make sure it lines up with the entirety of scripture.  If you do you will be greatly blessed with wisdom from above.

But how is it many try to learn about what is wrong about what they believe?  Buy a book and that is the complete opposite of what you've been taught and then you start following another gospel because it makes some sense to the carnal mind.  False teaching that is against another false teaching is still false teaching.  Satan is the author of lies and he has scripted many logical arguments which are different gospels and he just wants you to believe one of them.

Doctrines of Man and Generational False Beliefs in the Churches Today

OSAS - Once saved always saved: Hey are you saved?  Just say this prayer and you are in no matter what.  Well my bible says that those that believe in their heart that God raised Jesus from the dead it is them that are saved. Those are the people that confess Jesus is Lord.  OSAS is the doctrine of man.  It is loaded with truth, but the things that are not true are from Satan and spiritually blinding.

Finished Work Doctrine:
Another doctrine of man that says we are completely sanctified at the moment we become believers.  No need to do anything to be holy or set apart.  Yes, you must ignore the resist the devil and he will flee from you verse in James.  And what this produces is a bunch of confused and argumentative Christians that don't know how to be delivered or deliver others from things they want to be set free from.  It is the thing that keeps people in bondage to sin.

Jesus work to pay for the sins of the world is finished and thank you Jesus for that!

Experience over Faith -Believing something is true because you have experienced it.  This one and the one below it are similar.  But the example I'll give is when you see people at Bethel Redding church "baptizing" people with fire and doing demonic things during these satanic sessions and then someone gets a demon imparted upon them and they are tormented and after it is over they are under the influence of a demonic entity that has given them exactly what they were looking for.  They are looking for a supernatural experience not Jesus.  But this supernatural experience will call itself Jesus when it starts speaking to them and all the sudden you have someone that has fallen from believing in the scriptures to believing only the scriptures that support their new gospel, new Jesus and this different spirit.  Then they go around chasing the supernatural.

Jesus said this:
Matthew 24:24 KJV
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

2 Timothy 4:3-4 KJV
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

HYPER GRACE GOSPEL WHICH FOLLOWS NEW JESUS NAMED GRACE

This doctrine of man which is really a Gnostic teaching revived for today which says, Grace is a person and this person is Jesus.  So this new gospel of Grace is actually another Jesus, another gospel and another spirit.  I've witnessed the chaos this false teaching leads to and it is typically believed by those that have been in overly legalistic Christian churches and in escaping that they have embraced the polar opposite gospel that says you need to do nothing to be saved. Well one thing you need to do is at some time in your life you need to say you believe in Jesus.  Then you can do whatever the heck you want and you are good as gold. In fact you don't ever have to apologize to God for the sin you commit in your life because well, He can't see any sin anymore because you are completely hid in Christ. IT IS FINISHED and THIS GOSPEL OF GRACE is said a lot, but there is no power in the message. It is just a short term fix until they read the next GRACE UP IN YOUR FACE book.

Also, note that in the bible it is mentioned one time concerning the gospel of grace, but it is not just the gospel of grace, but rather the "gospel of the grace of God".  If you look at the Greek for the Textus Receptus you will not see a word for "the" in there I don't believe so I don't think it is inaccurate to say "the gospel of grace", but I think it would be more accurate to say, "the gospel of grace of God".

There is an imbalance in the hyper grace teachings where you don't hear much about the other terms the bible uses to describe the gospel of our salvation in Jesus Christ.  So if you do a word search on "gospel" in the entire bible, you will find gospel 98 times.  ONLY one time does it refer to the gospel of grace of God.  Even though that is not even 1 percent of the time the grace only teachers usually leave the "of God" part off.  Why not?  Their gospel of GRACE is the gospel of another Jesus in many cases. Their GRACE allows one to be justified without faith.

2 Peter 2:1-3 KJV
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

New Personal Revelation over the Word of God -"hearing the voice of the Lord" Not testing the spirits as 1 John 4:1-3 tells us to do.

1 John 4:1-3 KJV
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Sinless Perfection:
Another false teaching concerning sanctification in that some people believe that they do not sin anymore after they experience a period of sanctification in their life.  This is primarily due to a person having a wrong definition of sin and also because there are many in the Word of Faith religious sects that teach this is possible. Sin is whatsoever is not of faith.

Romans 14:23
And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

Replacement Theology: The Church has replaced Israel if you can believe that.

Dominionism: They think that in order for Jesus to return we Christians must rise up and take over the world one mountain at a time. Mountains are Religion, Business, Family, Media, Arts and Entertainment, Political and there is one more I can't recall at the moment.

False signs and lying wonders movement - This one is part of dominionism, sinless perfection, hyper spirituality, miracle chasers...essentially a bunch of people that want the occult and new age, but also want Jesus so that they can be Christian.  Unfortunately for them is they will be the ones that kill true Christians and in doing so they will think they are doing God a favor when in fact they will be persecuting the Saints.  This is a sad lot.

There are many more, but these are just the ones I've encountered in real life  over the past few years.

Luke 6:46 KJV
And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Is Dan Mohler A False Teacher?

I have heard many sermons by Dan Mohler that I really loved.  And then I also experienced some supernatural things and saw people getting healed and I really thought of Dan Mohler as one of the best teachers on healing and how we are supposed to live out the life as a believer.  But red flags have continued to pop up in my mind over the last five years in my faith journey. And I have had many friends that love Dan Mohler's teachings.  My incessant searching for others that notice things that I notice about false teaching and false teachers and spiritual blindness in those that are deceived in the church. So far the problem I've found with some of Dan Mohler's loudest critics is that they either discount him completely because they are cessationists (don't believe in any of the spiritual gifts for today's body of Christ), or they are hyper sensitive to something Dan teaches and are dogmatic that he has a different spirit and gospel. I do not really know. But som
